About Catherine Taye

Catherine's background reflects her love of bodily arts, her concern for the well-being of her clients, and her understanding of bodies, alignment and movement.

She is a passionate dancer, and has studied and performed many types of dance, including modern, hula, ballet and Bharata Natyam. Since 1994, Catherine has studied several types of Hatha yoga, including Iyengar and Ashtanga, and currently studies Yoga with Sofia Diaz in Boulder, Colorado.

She received a BA in Fine Art and Life Sciences from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington in 2000, and completed her Rolfing training at the Rolf Institute in Boulder in 2002. In addition to her work as a Rolfer, Catherine has valuable therapeutic experience gained from her previous work as a physical therapy aide and massage therapist.
